The St Fillans Community Trust (Limited) is a Charity (SCO038882) that was established in November 2007 and run by volunteers from the Village.
The purpose of the Trust is to provide a legal organisation that can manage community land and associated assets for the benefit of the Community. The Trust has a wide ranging remit that is outlined in its founding “Articles of Association” but has concentrated particularly on improving the quality of life for people that live in the village and the local built and natural environment.
The Trust works closely with the Community Council and other groups in the village to ensure that projects can be delivered successfully, working with village funds and external funders.
The Trust currently has 4 Directors;
- Barry Fisher: Chair / Secretary
- Ruth Graham: Treasurer
- Carol Graham: Director
The Trust holds an AGM every year (normally in February) where it presents a report of its annual activities and a presentation of the annual accounts.

Activity
The Trust provides support to a number of local groups which has included the following;
- Provision of Christmas Tree and Lights
- Support for the Village Firework event
- Management of funds associated with the Railway Path development between Comrie to Lochearnhead
- Nature and Biodiversity projects at the Playpark
