It is time once again for Villagers membership of the Sandison Hall to be renewed. Over the last two years, thanks to your support, we have managed to overcome general cost of living problems faced by Village halls, in particular the high cost of heating the hall over the winter months. In 2024, we have already had to pay for inspection of the electrics of the Hall and associated rectification. This was to meet insurance requirements. We have also agreed to the replacement of the front door and its surrounds. Our budget for the running costs of the Hall for 2024 come to around £8,000. Our income comes from Hall lets, grants, fund raising events and support from the Villagers by way of subscription and donations.
The annual subscription to the Association, The Sandison Hall, is now due and, as normal, this letter is being sent to all householders in St Fillans.
