• St Fillans Bus stops revised – updated 4th August.
  • Bus stop and footway improvements planned for 25 days starting Monday 5 August
  • Two-way temporary traffic lights between 9:30am and 4:30pm

BEAR Scotland, on behalf of Transport Scotland, is set to carry out essential footway and bus stop improvements on the A85 throughout the village of St Fillans from Monday 5 August.

These footway and bus stop improvements will continue for 25 days between the hours of 9:30am and 4:30pm, with no work being carried out at the weekends.

Temporary two-way temporary traffic lights will be in place to keep road workers and users safe. Due to the nature of the works, it will be necessary to close the footway at certain times and diversions around the works area will be in place for pedestrians to ensure their safety.

Access through the worksite for emergency vehicles will be maintained at all times.

Ian Stewart, BEAR Scotland’s Northwest Unit Representative said; “These essential bus stop and footway improvements will greatly improve access for all members of the public wishing to utilise public transport throughout the village of St Fillans.”

“Our teams will do all they can to complete the works as quickly and safely as they can, and we thank the local community and road users for their patience in advance while we complete these works.”
